In celebration of the graduation/completion of the 1st year Sheetmetal Apprenticeship class, the Grande Prairie Regional College, Alberta Apprenticeship and LSM Lee’s Sheet Metal hosted a BBQ at noon on June 24 to celebrate this partnership and the students' accomplishments.

Sheet metal apprenticeship will be offered in Grande Prairie through collaborative efforts of SAIT, Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT), Grande Prairie Regional College, and LSM. ![]() Human Resources and Safety DivisonThe Human Resources and Safety Division oversees the development and maintenance of our comprehensive HR/Safety Program for all of our shops, worksites, and offices. This division ensures employees are not only working in a safe environment but are also provided with the training and education they need to provide LSM customers with quality workmanship.Taking a proactive approach to safety is an absolute priority of LSM. The safety department coordinates with all divisions to facilitate in-house training, toolbox meetings, the development and review of safe work practices, safe job procedures, and hazard assessments. As well, the department conducts worksite inspections, oversees management of our subcontractor program, completes incident investigations, analyzes trends to prevent future incidents, and oversees our preventative maintenance program for all of our vehicles, and equipment. LSM continually strives to become and remain an incident free work place. In keeping with tradition, our Human Resources Department focuses on ensuring our employees’ goals for professional development meet with LSM’s commitment for encouraging life-long learning. LSM takes pride in the fact that we want employees who are proud of their work, are willing to go the extra mile for our customers, and bring a positive attitude to their working environment.
