103-YEAR-OLD LENNOX FURNACE

Phyllis Jiran's Lennox furnace from 1905 was doing a great job of heating her Milwaukee, Wisconsin home, but she wasn't quite pleased with her gas bills. Her brother had told her never to replace the Lennox, because it would never quit on her. The house was built around the furnace and later retrofitted almost 40 years ago from coal to natural gas.
Jiran called upon Lennox Premier Dealer West Allis Heating and Air Conditioning to install a new furnace, and she also ahd them install central air conditioning, which she'd never had before.
Jason Rockenfield, West Allis Heating and Air Conditioning sales representative, managed the project. The old furnace and supply runs were removed - roughly 1,900 pounds of scrap metal!
A G51 furnace and XC13 air conditioner were installed, along with new ductwork.
"Despite the monumental furnace removal and installation, our four technicians on the job were still able to complete the job in just one day," said Rockenfield. "Phyllis was pleased with the results. She's saved about 60-70% on her gas bills.
