The Journeyman or Registered Apprentice Plumber/Gasfitter shall fulfill general fabrication and installation duties, working under the direction of the division supervisor or site foreman.  The projects are usually custom ordered to meet the needs of the project.  They shall be responsible for performing fabrication and installation duties as requested, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicate with customers & co-workers in a friendly, courteous & professional manner.
  • Enforcement and compliance of rules, regulations & policies as set out by LSM, Occupational Health & Safety, and other governing authorities as may be applicable.
  • Receive specific training to perform tasks more commonly associated with working with plumbing.
  • Follow Job Procedures and Safe Work Practices to assist in completing the tasks safely asked of you.
  • Perform a variety of Plumbing/Gas fitting Installation processes to fill the needs, specifications, and quality requirements of the customer.
  • Ensure the required materials and supplies have been ordered before the last-minute need.
  • Ensure a complete record of your “Time” and the “Materials” you have used.
  • Pass along training and knowledge to new workers and apprentices.
  • Ensure a safe, clean work area. A certain amount of “clean-up” is expected as a part of that project and the time charged to the project.
  • Attend safety and toolbox meetings, perform required safety inspections, and participate in the safety program.
  • Due to emerging client policies, must be fully vaccinated.
