With divisions in residential services, mechanical & electrical contracting, manufacturing, powder coating, and gas heat pumps & cogeneration; we offer a level of expertise and in-house capability unmatched in the region.

In 2007, LSM transitioned to an employee-owned structure. This change helped solidify a long-term, community-rooted approach to employee retention, knowledge transfer, and continued operation.
We invest in the next generation of skilled tradespeople through a robust apprenticeship program that ensures knowledge, safety, and craftsmanship are passed on. We believe great teams build great results.
Before industry standards demanded it, LSM created and implemented a proactive safety program. Today, we hold a valid COR (Certificate of Recognition) and continually update our safety training to keep our team safe, informed, and supported.
Our clients benefit from the same protocols that protect our teams. We actively identify hazards, manage risk, and ensure job site integrity to protect people and property at every stage of a project.
We believe in sustainable practices across all operations. From recycling metal, wood, and packaging materials to integrating energy-efficient systems into our manufacturing shop (including a solar wall, and CHP with gas engine heat pump), we continually look for ways to reduce our environmental impact.
In recent years, LSM launched the Energy Solutions Division, offering smart, sustainable systems like Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and natural gas-powered VRF heat pumps. These innovations help reduce operating costs, electrical costs, carbon emissions, and improve efficiency while performing in Alberta’s toughest conditions.
